jet
The A2 concept jet, which engineers say could make the journey from Brussels (or London) to Sydney in less than five hours, traveling at speeds up to 3,400 mph.

jet:

A high-speed stream of a fluid, such as gas or water, discharged from a small opening or nozzle. Jet propulsion is the thrust produced by a jet. You can demonstrate jet propulsion by blowing up a balloon and then releasing it and watching it move. A jet engine uses jets of burning gases to provide thrust to an aircraft, watercraft, and some land vehicles.
