GPS:
GPS stands for Global Positioning System. It is a system of 27 earth-orbiting satellites that are arranged so that at any time, anywhere on Earth, there are at least four satellites "visible" in the sky. This allows receivers in planes, cars, boats, cell phones, cameras and many other electronic instruments to pinpoint their precise location in the world. More and more devices include a GPS receiver to track their location.
