From reading this article this shows the amazing wonders of nature. An all white orca is very rare, and inplies that there are wnders of nature all around us. Even though it is past earth day, I will try to commit to my planet by going green and giving back to our ecosystems.  cool smile

That is really cool that scientists found an all white killer whale. It makes me think about other wonders of things around the world. We have to keep animals safe like these because of the mysteries in animals.

I think the killer whale is white because it is an albino. Albinos are very rare and there are about 1 in evrey 1,000,000 of their species.

This story makes me think about the diversity of the life on our earth. There are different types of animals and in turn different species in that group of animals. Albino animals are just so amazing and different from the rest. It is so cool that there are whales like this in the water. Whales are such interesting creatures to me that this story triggers a bunch of questions like: Why didn’t any other white orca live to aldulthood that we know of?

I wonder if there are anymore all white killer whales.

The coolest thing was that i had no idea that there was a white whale in the waters. I think whales are so cool because they can be really big or really small and the huge whales eat the smallest fish like little shrimp being eaten by a 60 ft long whale

I think its fascanating that there are animals that are most of the time almost all black with a little of white (Orcas) that one is all white i think this animal is alboino and probaly has red eyes because animals that are all white that are most of the time a diffrent color are ussalay alboino

I think that it is amazing that they found an all white orca! I would have loved to watch it grow up and be the only one in his pack that is fully white. I hope that more all white whales will grow if the white one has babies. Then white whales could live forever!

It’s so cute how they named him Iceberg. It fits him perfectly! Now he has camaflouge so it’s hard to spot him.

Whoa! I have never heard of white killer whales! I have always thought that the only type of whales were black, some with white spots. I’ve never been taught differently, so I didn’t think of even going online just to explore the possibilities of different kinds of whales. At the end of the paragraph about this whale that was spotted with the other members of it’s pod, it says we have to be more careful and keep the ocean healthy to increase the possibilities of new ocean life!

I was amazed and encouraged by Iceburg . I think that she is a sign to many people. Even though you may not look or act the same as other people, (or whales) you could still be the most amazing and beautiful thing to another person. Just like the saying,” One man’s junk is another man’s gold.” Many people have this problem and Iceburg is a sign to help these people and encourage them to stand tall and not be pressured or discouraged by anyone else beacause everyone is perfect just the way they are.

I would like to help keep oceans clean instead of having garbage be thrown in to the ocean. Next time I would like to pick up garbage and throw them away and I will not trash it.

I think this means the ocean is a wonderful place, full of different wonders like, “Why is that Orca all white?” I think this is a beautiful Orca! It is a very different whale from all of the others. That’s what makes it a wonderful creature! smile
