Hmmmmmmm…..Patrick from Upstate New York is onto the first part of the puzzle. It is indeed a Portuguese Water Dog.

Take another look at the question, Patrick. Can you figure out why my publisher decided to change the cover to show a Portuguese Water Dog in 2009?

In 2009, President Obama and his family adopted a new dog which is a Portuguese Water Dog named Bo!
