Hi Liz,

I really loved your idea about having a meteor shower party.  When I was in Junior High in Dallas, Texas, my Dad and I did something like this for one of my science classes.  We had every one meet in the Jr. High parking lot one evening (with parent and teacher and principal permission.) My Dad and I brought a telescope from my house and we had a star/moon watching party.  Most of my classmates had never looked through a telescope before…it was really fun!  Unfortunately we didn’t have the quiche though!  I need to do that the next time!
