We’ve been learning how readers learn information from both the text and the illustrations. After reading the entire text on StarWalk Kids, we saw that on page number 7 the text taught us about how bedrock is the best foundation. In the picture, we saw lots of heavy equipment helping the builders do their job. That is just one of the MANY things we learned from the words and illustrations in your book!
Thank you, thank you! We love and look forward to Writing Wednesday!

Our class read your story, Skyscrapers, in class today. Our teacher had us use a “T” chart to tell the different things we learned from the words and the pictures. On page 10, we learned that ironworkers work to put the buildings together and are not afraid of heights. We noticed in the picture on page 12 that these
ironworkers need helmets to keep their heads safe and protected.
Thank you for Writing Wednesday! It’s our favorite day of the week.
