There are three types of common clouds. The
first cloud is the stratus they are flat and hazy looking, the second cloud is the cumulus they are white puffy clouds, the third cloud is the cirrus they are wispy looking and thin. The second type of cloud is the cloud that you would see on a “fair weather day” because they are puffy clouds that spread across the sky and look like cotton balls.

How are you Mr. Simon? The three most common types of clouds you would see are: Cirrus cloud(Thin clouds very high in the sky.) Stratus cloud(Flat clouds that can sometimes be found very close to the ground.) and last but not least the Cumulus Cloud(Puffy, cotton like clouds that are usually associated with warm, sunny weather. Therefore the Cumulus cloud would be spotted on a fair weather day.

The three most common types of clouds are the Cumulus,Stratus and Cirrus. Cumulus clouds look like cotton balls and are puffy white, they develop vertically and form below 6,000ft.Stratus clouds are in layers, they are the fog in the you see in the morning because they form closer to the ground. Cirrus clouds look like feathers and are made of ice crystals, they form above 18,000ft.
You would most likely see a cumulus cloud on a fair weather day because it forms below 6,000ft and is easily seen. Also it does not form high enough to cause precipitation.
